Sold individually, these turned wooden bottle openers are handmade by ourselves here in Scotland.  These would make an ideal housewarming, Christmas, or fathers day gift - or just as an unique and useful utensil for your kitchen, garden, tent or caravan.

The wood we use is from local Scottish hardwoods which we fell and process ourselves. The Yew, Oak, and Spalted Beech each offer interest and warmth and are turned to our own unique shape which fits comfortably in the hand.

Several coats of wood wax have been applied to provide a protective finish, and they can be re-waxed if required in the future with any wax suitable for wood. We recommend our own Anyfink Wood Balm which we have developed especially for Spurtles, Spoons, Boards and more.

These bottle openers are 6" (15cm) long with a glossy smooth waxed finish and a very tactile and ergonomic shape which still opens bottles with ease.

They are available in three Scottish woods:

Yew - a scarce wood, rich orange in colour with occasional lighter patches and interesting grain lines and markings.

Oak - light and dark brown wood with flecks throughout and occasional small knot markings.

Spalted Beech - medium and lighter shades of brown with natural dark swirling lines creating interesting patterns.
